Evergreen Lodge - Memory Care Housing

The Lodge provides housing and services for twelve residents requiring assistance in their activities of daily living due to dementia or other memory related conditions. Constructed and opened in 2008 the Lodge provides a new level of service for Northfield Retirement Community.

Evergreen Lodge offers resident-centered care in an intimate setting for those individuals with dementia-specific needs. Special focus has been placed on providing the most homelike atmosphere. Residents have the opportunity to contribute to their home by assisting with meal planning and preparation, laundry and general upkeep of the Lodge.

Services included in monthly fee:
     - 24-hour supervision provided by staff specially trained in caring for        those with memory loss.
     - Care Plans developed to the individual needs of each resident.
     - Home cooked meals plus anytime snacks.  
     - Two whirlpool baths per week.
     - AM and PM personal assistance
     - Medication management
     - Daily specialized events and activities
     - Hand and foot massages
     - Housekeeping and laundry services
     - Opportunities for spiritual care services each week
     - Furnished private bedroom, include private shower and bathroom
     - Living environment with special security features for individuals with        memory loss
      -Private spa bath
     - Enclosed landscaped courtyard complete with a water feature and        shade trees
